Purpose: The overhead toss using a medicine ball assess power and stability of the upper and lower body while mimicking a dynamic movement
Equipment: Medicine ball
- Instruct your client to stand facing a wall in a split stance, one foot forward and one behind.
- Have them raise the medicine ball over-head.
- Queue the client to explosively flex at the hip and throw the ball for maximal distance.
- Record the best
- The best of three attempts is recorded.
